The Iti Iti - 4 days/3 nights
You’ll be aboard a 38-foot catamaran with your skipper who is also your guide and cook.
All meals are included including a special dinner at the famous Relais & Château resort hotel, Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa.
Three routes are possible for inter-island sailings which each take between 3 and 4 hours.
The most common: Raiatea - Taha’a - Bora-Bora. If feasible you can disembark directly at the pontoon of your destination hotel.
The most mysterious: Huahine - Taha’a - Raiatea. Huahine is a wonderful island, far removed from the traditional tourist track. From Raiatea, you can take a 15-minute flight to Bora Bora.
For those who are not the best sailors: Raiatea-Taha’a-Raiatea: Since you will never leave the mostly calm waters of the reef-protected lagoon, you are unlikely to get sea-sick. Highlights include sailing up a river, visiting a Polynesian temple site ( called a marae), visiting a manta ray sanctuary, a pearl farm and a vanilla plantation.
A private cruise of the same duration is also possible in the Tuamotu islands, based for 3 nights at Fakarava.
For cruising among the atolls, the boat is equipped with two sea kayaks, floating hammocks to laze on in the lagoon, line-fishing tackle for trying your luck between the islands and snorkeling equipment. Additional options: a scuba diving instructor and scuba equipment, a kite surf or wake board instructor etc.
The Tahiti Twosome – 7 days / 6 nights
Aboard your private 38-foot catamaran with skipper-guide-cook. This cruise includes a Polynesian massage and an afternoon at the Deep Ocean Spa of the InterContinental Thalasso Resort on Bora-Bora.
All meals are included in the package except for two dinners, leaving you free to choose from local restaurants along the way.
The route is Raiatea - Huahine - Taha’a - Bora-Bora. You will be disembarked either at your hotel pontoon, if possible, or at the quayside in Vaitape village on Bora-Bora.
A same duration cruise is also possible in the Tuamotu Islands, based around Fakarava and Toau, a neighboring atoll of just 40 inhabitants.
For cruising among the atolls, the boat is equipped with two sea kayaks, floating hammocks for lazing on the lagoon, line-fishing tackle for fishing between the islands and snorkeling equipment.
